Community rules

These rules apply to everyone on Hustle, businesses and students alike. Hustle is open from age 14, so some of the rules are there especially for younger users.

This is a working draft for the Hustle beta. A lawyer has not reviewed it yet; one will after the investment.

Version 2026-10-beta-8, in effect from October 22, 2026.

Be honest

  • Use your real name and true details about yourself.
  • Do not pretend to be someone else.
  • Only show work you actually did.
  • Do not write fake reviews, or reviews of orders you did not work on.
  • Do not offer anything for a good review, and do not pressure anyone to change theirs.

Be respectful

These are not allowed on Hustle:

  • harassment and threats
  • hate speech and discrimination
  • sexual content
  • content or behavior that could put someone under 18 at risk

Keep it about the work

  • Do not send spam.
  • Do not try to scam anyone.
  • Do not ask for more personal details than the job needs.
  • Do not pressure anyone to move the conversation off Hustle.

Keep conversations on Hustle so the team can help if something goes wrong.

Only post what you have the right to post

Only post texts, images, videos and examples of work that are yours or that you have permission to post. Do not present someone else’s work as your own.

Message requests

Anyone can message anyone. Whoever starts a conversation can send up to 3 messages until the other person accepts the request.

  • If someone declines your request or blocks you, do not send them new requests.
  • Do not open a new account to get around a block or a suspension.

Users under 18

Anything aimed at a user under 18 is held to the strictest standard.

A moderator from the Hustle team reviews services and listings from users under 18 before they are published.

If you are under 18 and something in a conversation makes you uncomfortable, block the person and write to us in the “Hustle team” conversation.

When someone breaks the rules

A keyword filter checks every listing, profile text and chat message, and the Hustle team can read conversations. Every time the team reads someone else’s conversation, it is recorded.

If it finds something, such as a phone number or an offensive word, the text stays hidden until the Hustle team reviews it. The team can approve it or send it back to you with a note.

When someone breaks the rules, the team can:

  • hide the content
  • warn the user, with a message from “Hustle team” in their “Hustle team” conversation
  • suspend the account: it then cannot sign in, and the profile and listings are hidden

We may report serious cases to the authorities.

How to report a problem

If you see something that breaks these rules, tell us:

  • with the report button on the message or profile
  • in the “Hustle team” conversation
  • at kontakt@hustle.mk
